Asset Replenishment

Asset Replenishment helps track asset inventory and notify technicians about asset inventory exhaustion. An email notification can be configured to alert technicians about asset inventory exhaustion.

Asset replenishment settings or replenishment configuration focuses on maintaining the asset inventory count at threshold level.

Role Required: SDAdmin

To configure asset replenishment, go to Assets and select Asset Replenishment from the left pane.

Add New Replenishment

  1. Click New.

  2. Select the Site where you want to apply the replenishment configuration.

  3. Select Product Type and Product Name. The Current Inventory Count column displays the number of products available in store.

  4. In the Trigger notification when count is below field, enter the threshold count below which the notification should be activated.

  5. Click to configure several products/product types in the same configuration.

  6. Click Save.

 

 

The Asset Replenishment count is based on products. You can use the Product Type filter to view products under it.
Selecting All Products shows the total asset count of all products in the product type.

Edit Replenishment Configuration

You can edit only the threshold limit of replenishment configuration in the Trigger notification when count is below field. Fields such as Site, Product Type, and Product Name are non-editable.

  1. Click the icon beside the replenishment configuration.           

  2. Update the threshold count entered in the Trigger notification when count is below field and click Update.

 

 

To bulk edit, select the check box beside the replenishment configurations and click Edit on the toolbar.

 

 

Delete Replenishment Configuration

Select the check boxes beside the replenishment configurations you want to delete and click in the toolbar. 

  

 

List View Actions

Filter Replenishment Configurations - You can filter the asset replenishment configurations displayed based on the Site and Product Type.

 

Search - Click to perform column based search in the asset replenishment list view page.

Choose Columns - Click to add or remove columns from the list view.

View Records per page - Click to choose the number of asset replenishment configurations to be displayed in the list view.

 

History

History records the replenishment configuration actions performed by technicians from all sites. To view history, click the icon on the top right corner of the list view page.

Click to sort the actions performed on the asset replenishment configurations by date.

 

 

Configure Asset State for Replenishment

  1. To set the status of the assets for replenishment, click the Asset State for Replenishment icon . A pop-up with all asset status will be displayed.

  2. Select the check box beside the statuses. By default, In Store is enabled.

 

The current inventory count is fetched based on the selected asset state.
Only SDAdmins can change the status of assets. Status changes can be tracked under Community > System Log Viewer.

 

 

Configure Replenishment Notification

Replenishment alert notifications are sent to specific technicians if the asset count in store goes below the configured threshold.

Notifications are sent to the technicians based on their site permissions. Technicians will receive notifications regarding the assets only from the sites they are associated with.
