Configuring Google Workspace (G Suite) as the Authentication Server
To configure Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite) as the authentication server,

- Enter the Project Name.
- Under Location, click Browse and select the parent organization.
- Click Create.

- In the Cloud Console, click APIs & Services > OAuth consent screen.

- In the left pane, click Overview.
- In the Project configuration page, enter the App name and User support email of ServiceDesk Plus. Click Next.

- Under Audience, select the user type and click Next.

- Enter your Contact Information to get notified about any changes within the project. Click Next.

- Under Finish, agree to the terms and conditions and click Continue.

- In the left pane, click Clients > Create OAuth client to register ServiceDesk Plus as the OAuth Client and generate Client ID.

- Select the Application type as Web application.
- Enter the Application name (ServiceDesk Plus) and Authorized redirect URIs. You can find the Redirect URI for OAuth authentication under Admin > Mail Server Settings > Incoming > Authorization Server Details.

- After you create the OAuth Client, click Download JSON in the pop-up and click OK. The downloaded JSON file includes details such as the Client ID, Client Secret, Authorization URL, and Token URL. In ServiceDesk Plus, you can use this information to configure the authorization server under Admin > Mail Server Settings > Incoming.

- In the left pane, click Data Access.
- On the displayed page, click Add or remove scopes to add scopes required to access user data for authentication. In ServiceDesk Plus, you can use these scopes under Admin > Mail Server Settings > Incoming > Authorization Server Details > Scope.
- From the available list of APIs, select Gmail API as shown below. You can use the search option for quicker results.

- In the Product details page, click Enable.

You have now configured Google Workspace as the authorization server for your ServiceDesk Plus.
