To enhance asset tracking and accountability, the status of assets (IT assets and Non-IT assets) owned by deleted users will now be moved to a new status To be Returned instead of the previously used In Store status. This change enables administrators to track these assets more effectively and take necessary actions, such as verifying returns, identifying pending returns, or flagging missing items.

Assets in this status cannot be loaned, or auto-assigned to other users.
Other assets linked to assets owned by inactive users will remain unaffected.
The association between inactive users and assets will no longer be visible under the cluster view of the Relationship tab on the asset details page.
The new To Be Returned status can be used as a search filter in column search and global search.
Assets belonging to inactive users cannot have their status changed until the related user or department information is updated.
