View Task Details

On the task list view, select a task to open the task details page. You can edit or delete a task from the task details page using or icons.

 

 

The task details page contains 4 tabs:

 

Details: The comprehensive details of the task are displayed here. You can spot edit the task from here.

 Edit the Group or Owner fields to mark/assign tasks. 
 Edit Status field to move the task to Closed status.

 

 

Comments: Communicate with technicians by adding remarks about the task/problem and by replying to comments. You can tag problem users, roles, and technicians associated with the sites you can access by typing @.

 

 

To notify users when they are tagged, configure email notifications under Admin > Automation (Helpdesk Customizer in Old UI) > Notification Rules.

 

Work Logs: Record time spent on the task. You can add the work completed, specify the time taken to resolve, cost, and more. Learn how to fill out the work log form.

 

 

History: Lists various actions performed on the task.
