Technicians usually delete closed requests. However, these requests may be required soon after they are closed because of accidental deletion or other reasons.
ServiceDesk Plus allows you to restore deleted requests within a preconfigured time interval. Using the Request Trash option available under Request filters, technicians will be able to recover deleted requests within the configured time period. After the elapse of the configured time period, the requests will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
To recover deleted requests, do the following:

Request Trash holds deleted requests for the configured number of days, after which they will be deleted permanently. SDAdmins can configure up to 10 days for the requests to be available in Trash. SDAdmins can configure this setting under ESM Directory > General Settings > Application Settings.
