Deleted solutions are moved to trash. You can permanently delete solutions from trash or restore them within 30 days from the time of deletion.
Role Required: SDAdmins and technicians with Edit and Delete Solutions permission
Go to Solutions.
Click Actions
beside the solution you want to delete and select Delete.
To bulk delete solutions, select multiple solutions and click Delete on the toolbar.

Solutions can also be deleted while deleting topics.
To view deleted solutions, select Trash from the solutions filter drop-down.

You can restore or delete solutions permanently from trash. Solutions deleted from trash cannot be restored.
To delete or restore a solution, click Actions
beside a solution and select Delete or Restore.
To delete or restore solutions in bulk, select multiple solutions and click Restore or Delete Forever on the toolbar.

Click Back to Active Solutions on the top of the page to navigate to the active solutions list view.
On the solutions list or classic view, go to the left pane.
Hover over a topic, click
> Delete Topic.
If the topic contains subtopics or solutions, select whether to move
The solutions to trash or to another topic.
Subtopics to a new topic or a different parent topic.
Moving solutions to trash will mark the topic as inactive. To delete the topic permanently, hover over the inactive topic and click
> Delete Topic.
Moving solutions and subtopics to another topic will delete the topic permanently.

Click the Show/Hide Deleted Topics
icon on the left pane to view or hide the inactive topics.
Hover over an inactive topic, click
> Restore.
Select whether to restore only the topic or restore both topic and solutions.

Use the topic filter to view solutions only from a particular topic or from its sub-topic.
