Introduction
Asset Lease is now termed as Asset Loan. Asset Loan enables technicians to lend and manage assets in a systematic and efficient manner. The feature includes the following capabilities:
- Mark assets and components as loanable.
- Loan and return assets/components in bulk.
- View assets and components with expired loan periods in a separate list view.
- Trigger notifications when assets or components are loaned, returned, extended, or when the loan period expires.
- Add assets or components to New Loan or Return Loaned Asset by scanning their barcodes or searching for them manually.
Asset loan has four sections:
Loan registry
Loaned assets
Loanable assets
Loan expired assets
Asset Loan Workflow
Components can now be loaned out.
You can make assets and components as loanable in the Assign/Associate pop-up or via the the bulk edit option.
The loan time can now be defined in the loan start and end date fields.
Assets and components cannot be loaned to users from a different site when the Retain user site as asset site configuration is enabled.
