Submission stage involves thorough assessment of the proposed change and its various attributes such as impact, risk involved, urgency, or priority. The business requirements of the change are defined clearly.
The Details sub-tab displays the attributes defined while creating the change request. You can record the goals and guidelines of the change as description or as attachments if needed.
Additional fields configured with the submission stage are also displayed here.
Depending on your change role and permissions, you can spot-edit the change fields.

Set the expected time to implement while submitting the change request. You can also record the time when the change was created and completed.

You can add and manage tasks to break down the work involved in submission stage.

Click on a task name to open the task details page. You can view the comprehensive details of the task, spot-edit the task fields, add comments or work logs, and track history from the task details page.

Technicians can add notes add important information about the submission stage and tag users to notify them.
In the Notes sub-tab,

Track the approval levels associated with the submission stage via workflow. Depending on your permissions, you can perform approval actions on the change.

From the Level Actions drop-down, you can approve, reject, edit or delete approval levels based on your permissions.

View the status transitions of the change in the submission stage, along with the comments added during transitions.
