Barcode/QR Code Generation

A barcode or QR code is a 2D identification method used to digitally store and retrieve asset information in ServiceDesk Plus. Each code contains unique alphanumeric data that identifies an asset.

Using the Barcode/QR code feature, you can scan vendor barcodes or generate custom barcodes/QR codes for assets when they enter the organization. This enables you to add and track assets easily.

After associating custom barcodes/QR codes with assets, asset information can be retrieved instantly by scanning codes.

To create barcodes/QR codes, go to Assets > Barcode/QR Code > Generate Code.
